When Klearcom is the better fit
If your callers are outside North America, Klearcom is the clearer choice: testing from in-country carriers is the core of what they sell, and it is not something Line Canary offers at all. They also cover regression and load testing, mobile network origination, and fax, and they list enterprise customers including Pfizer and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
When Line Canary is the better fit
If your numbers are in the US or Canada and you want to know within hours when one stops working, Line Canary is simpler and cheaper. Pricing is published, the free plan needs no credit card, and setup is adding a number and describing what a good call sounds like.
Line Canary is also a better fit if you are monitoring on someone else’s behalf. Agencies and IT providers watching client numbers get recordings and transcripts they can forward to the client who needs to fix it.
